New High Field MRI 1.5T Installed at Ocala Family Medical Center

Our New high-field Siemens Symphony 1.5 Tesla Magnetom Quantum Series MRI has arrived.

If you think that sounds like a mouth full you should see what this state of the art piece of equipment can do!

A few of the advantages of this MRI are scan times 2-5 times faster, better image quality as well as the ability to do MRA and cardiac imaging studies as well as a few other studies that we did not offer before.

If you happen to pass by Justin our high tech imaging manager or Savannah our radiological tech make sure to congratulate them on their newest addition... "Blue Quantum" kind of has a nice ring to it.

We are currently in the process of turning our MRI room into a sanctuary, so peaceful we might have to pull you away from the table once your scan is done.
