Current jobs available at Ocala Family Medical Center:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

    • Requirements: Minimum 1 year of College, Technical or Vocational School, Two years MA experience preferred, Training with Intergy/Medical Manager preferred but not required, Should be an effective communicator with strong multi-tasking skills.

    • Duties will include: Taking vitals, inputting data, preparing the patient to be seen by the health care provider, scheduling patients for needed tests/procedures per the provider’s orders, giving injections/vaccines, stocking and cleaning rooms, working assigned tasks via the computer program and other duties which will ensure that our patients get the proper health care. Bilingual a plus.

  • Phone Operator

    • Candidate should be a team player with excellent typing and multi-tasking skills. Medical office experience is a plus, but not required. Full-time position, immediate hire. Position Hours 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

  • Certified Coder/Risk Adjustment Coder

    • Busy Family Practice looking for an individual with a passion for helping others to join our team. Minimum of 2 years billing/coding experience in family practice. Knowledge of HCC's preferred. Should be an effective communicator with strong multi-tasking skills. Full time, immediate hire.

  •  Medical Assistant/LPN with a background in Dermatology and Mohs Procedures AND/OR Surgical Experience

    • Training with Intergy preferred but not required. Should be an effective communicator with strong multi-tasking skills. Competitive pay and excellent benefits available. Full time, immediate hire. Email resume with professional references.

  • Referral Coordinator

    • One year experience in obtaining authorizations, referrals and insurance verifications required. Billing and Coding experience is a plus, but is not required. Full Time position.

  • Ultrasound Tech

    • Candidates must have obtained certification(s) through an approved Ultrasound licensure registry. Experience preferred, but willing to accept new graduates with credentials. Job focus primarily on general ultrasound studies (abdomen, gyn, small parts), with secondary focus, but not required for carotid and vascular. Pay determined by experience.

  • Phone Triage LPN/MA

    • Now hiring for a LPN/MA with a background in Family or Internal Medicine. Intergy experience preferred but not required. Should be an effective communicator with strong multi-tasking skills.   • Exercise Technician

    • Exercise technician will be able to work alongside our physical therapists to restore, maintain, and promote overall health and fitness to our patients. Full-time/Part-time, immediate hire. The following skills/experiences would benefit the applicant seeking this position: knowledge and experience with proper exercise/stretching techniques, exposure or education with anatomy and physiology, effective communicator, active listening skills, and strong multi-tasking skills. Duties will include: preparing the patient to be seen by the health care provider, instructing patients on exercises/stretches, cleaning rooms, preparing ice/heat/iontophoresis machines and other modalities to ensure patient’s full treatment.

  • Phlebotomist

    • Responsible for venipuncture draws to collect blood samples as well as corresponding computer work. Experience is preferred – Full-Time position.

  • Medical Screener

    • Candidates will be responsible for the screening of all patients, guests, visitors, applicants and all other persons arriving to and departing from the facility according to the current COVID-19 screening requirements. Alerts leadership to potentially symptomatic individuals and restricts access per facility protocols. Maintains accurate and organized documentation and practices HIPAA compliant communication and record retention. Describes and enforces current hygiene and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols. Must be able to adapt to daily weather changes.​

  • X-Ray Machine Operator or AART Radiologic Diagnostic Imaging Technologist​

    • Candidate must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to various situations and procedures. Must have applicable state licensure as required. This position requires the desire to provide excellent patient care with a strong attention to detail. Two years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred. Experience with Intergy EHR is a plus. Full time, competitive pay and excellent benefits available. Salary DOE

  • EKG Tech

    • The EKG Tech is part of the overall health care team responsible for Cardiology related outpatient services. This position requires a knowledge of cardiac rhythms and the ability to provide compassionate communication with patients, while under minimal supervision. 

  • Medical Scribe

    • The following skills/experiences would benefit the applicant seeking this position: Knowledge and use of Electronic Medical Records, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Terminology, Excellent typing skills. This position requires charting physician-patient encounters in real-time during medical exams and supports work flow and documentation for medical record coding.
