Current jobs available at Ocala Family Medical Center:


  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistants needed for Full-time Covid-19 testing (and general medical assisting tasks)

    • Duties to include specimen collection, processing and proper documentation.

    • Additional supplemental pay will be given during Covid-19 specific duties.

    • Full time, immediate hire.

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

    • Requirements: Minimum 1 year of College, Technical or Vocational School, Two years MA experience preferred, Training with Intergy/Medical Manager preferred but not required, Should be an effective communicator with strong multi-tasking skills.

    • Duties will include: Taking vitals, inputting data, preparing the patient to be seen by the health care provider, scheduling patients for needed tests/procedures per the provider’s orders, giving injections/vaccines, stocking and cleaning rooms, working assigned tasks via the computer program and other duties which will ensure that our patients get the proper health care. Bilingual a plus.

  • Phlebotomist

    • Responsible for venipuncture draws to collect blood samples as well as corresponding computer work. Experience is preferred – Full-Time position.

  • Case Management Associate

    • Looking for an associate with a passion for helping others. Candidate should be proficient with Excel, have a strong knowledge of HEDIS measures, data analyzing skills, health informatics knowledge, and a strong attention to detail. Experience with Intergy EHR and quality care measures are a plus.​

  • Billing and Medical Coding Specialist

    • Must be a certified coder with a minimum of 2 years billing/coding experience in family practice, experience with Intergy/Medical Manager preferred but not required. Should be an effective communicator with strong multi-tasking skills.

  • Holter Tech

    • The Holter Technician is part of the overall health care team responsible for Cardiology related out-patient services. Candidate should have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Holter Technician or Certificate/Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program. BCLS certified. 

  • Medical Scribe

    • The following skills/experiences would benefit the applicant seeking this position: Knowledge and use of Electronic Medical Records, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Terminology, Excellent typing skills.
      This position requires charting physician-patient encounters in real-time during medical exams and supports work flow and documentation for medical record coding.
